Web2.0

Over the year we will be working on many web2.0 learning sites. One particular resource that children and adults may enjoy using is Bitstrips.

This site allows students to create graphic stories and pictures based on the content we've learned in class. I will be encouraging students to use this site often as it is not only a creative place to learn...but it is also fun.

Another resource you might enjoy learning about is googledocs. Anyone that has a gmail account has access to googledocs. This service allows you to upload a variety of different kinds of documents including Microsoft word files and powerpoint presentations. Once uploaded you can "share them" with whomever else you like who has a gmail address. You can then collaboratively edit and create documents together.

Also check out Delicious. This is great resource to create a page full of resources dedicated to a specific unit/topic.
